The Beach

I spent time with my Mom, Aunt Peggy, Aunt Beth, her sister Gayle and my cousin Angie. We chilled out at the pool mostly. During the day the beach was lined with the rental beach chairs that took up most of the space and don’t let the view fool you. Where the water seems to be meeting the sand is actually a drop off. The soft sand ends and it drops off to the hard sand. I tried to walk down the beach but couldn’t walk sideways. Oh well, I got the sun I needed at the pool. I went in the ocean once, to say I did. I got my tan for the year. Fat looks better tanned. :-)

We went to eat at a neat outdoor seafood restaurant that took forever. It was located out of the way off a back street. You stood in line to place your order and then you had to find a table. Your best bet was to scope out tables and see who would be leaving soon. We waited in line for a long time and then had to wait around 1 hr after ordering to get our food. I am not really sure if the food was worth the wait but the view of the sunset from the dock was. I took a really neat picture of what looks like a pirate ship in the sunset. Pretty good picture if I say so myself.

Time to get supper started.
