Music Man

I tell you what—-Little Man is addicted to music, not just any music but good ole rock and roll. He will only listen to the radio, not MP3 players and not just any station but KZ106.  If we try to fool him and change the station, he knows and tells us to “turn it, peez”.  He is even learning to say KZ106.  He is so addicted that they even turn the radio on at school when he is in the potty room so that he will relax and use the potty.

It has gotten so bad with him that he would rather lay in his bed in his room and listen to the radio while watching TV.  He is a little versatile on the TV but not much. He has to either be watching Veggie Tales, Scooby Doo or the Disney Channel.  He will tell you which one he is in the mood for and when one has ended.

We were getting worried about him spending so much time in his room that we decided to find a little portable radio and hook them up to his headphones.  Well the only little radio we had was one we got as a promotional item.  The problem was it was scannable, meaning we could not just tune into the station we had to keep scanning until we found it and sometimes the radio scanned on its own.  Needless to say we were constantly hearing either “turn it or help”.   So one day, I got my daily ebay email about the specials of the day and low and behold there was one for 5-in-1 wireless headphones.  I read the information about them and was definitely curious.  They are supposed to be able to pick up radio stations, conversations, TV stations, etc when they are plugged into different devices.  So I decided to give them a try especially since they were under $20.  If they didn’t work for Little Man, I figured I could either see if Trey wanted them or resell them on ebay.  So I ordered them.  We have had them for several days and he loves them.  He will now play in the living room, sit with us and chill or sit in his chair and play.  They come with a wireless transmitter that you plug into the headphone spot of a device, so the headphones can go anywhere.  We discovered they even work outside.  We wanted to sit on the front step for a bit on Thursday since the weather was so nice,so when Little Man got home from school we did.  Well he starts saying “radio” so I went inside to get the headphones to see if they would work and Yeah they did.  No problem.  He sat happily with us outside and listened to his music.

Time to get some work done and adjust Little Man’s headphones.  The boy loves his music!!!!
